Artists in Residence

We are excited to create a bespoke offer of professional development for our artist residents in Makespace buildings across the county. Alongside the business support on offer to all our residents, this targeted arts focus addresses the need of the growing Makespace Oxford artist community within our new hub spaces.

By creating a Makespace Oxford Artist Collective, we hope to give our resident artists an opportunity to connect, collaborate and inspire one other, as well as to enrich the creative ethos and community of Makespace, and the wider communities, towns and cities in which we reside.

The programme was developed by Oxford City Council, with funding secured by OxLEP from the central government’s Getting Building Fund.
